The word journey means many different things to many different people, but here for me it tells of my journey as an                   emerging artist.  From moving from Pembrokeshire to the North East of England, and the knowledge of art that I gained                   there, to moving back to Pembrokeshire in the middle of 2005, every experience in between has influenced the                           creation of my art and has brought me to where I am today, with my first solo exhibition in the county I consider to be home. 

The mixed media paintings shown here are a selection of those that I have created over the past year or so and                             come from many different series of paintings, and, as can be seen, each series has its own distinct theme. They show                          different moods, ideas and states of mind, though not always immediately perceived from the art, were essential in                         each painting’s conception and lie beneath its painted surface.
