Fresh, new and interesting.
I particularly liked "Segregated"
I particularly liked your smaller canvases.
Excellent paintings.
Brilliant - a bit too engaged for the UK?!?
Really powerful stuff loved to view it.
Amazing very beautiful modern art!
The longer I look the more I see, Thank you for
inspiring me!
Some of your work strikes a personal chord, whereas
others make no sense at all to me, this is the interest.
Well done!
Intense and affecting work, very disturbing.
As you say, one can see what one wants, it works!
Lovely artwork, very mysterious, nice !
Very good, everything makes sense, I especially like
"Swept aside"
Brilliant work! Very intense feelings created, much like
what I would like to do. I love "Broken" inspiring!
Your work grows on me and I had a special time looking
at it. Lots of movement and emotion, Good work.
I like the colours used.
A very good and inspiring day, it has inspired us all.
Thank you and good work.
Very impressive selection, I particularly liked
"Running" & "We won't make it home"
Great artist, keep up the good work.
Excellent exhibition Drew, enjoyed seeing your work,
especially liked seeing your Pembrokeshire paintings.
Interesting and inspiring, I loved your "Isolation"
paintings.
Your planets paintings were wonderful but to me
represent the rolling waves of the sea.
Very good, well worth our 8 hr drive from Newcastle upon
Tyne.
I like the philosophical spontaneity and the concomitant
food for thought.
Can't understand why anyone would like this over prised.
I could do it in my sleep!
The above criticism is not very nice, everyone to their
own opinion I guess. I like your work especially "Celtic Shores" Everyone
says that they can paint in their sleep, those who cannot paint that is!
It's a shame you cannot spell when you are awake either! Oh dear, there's a c in
priced not an s!
Excellent work
Really different, I loved "Celtic Shores, Celebration and The Growth of
Hope"
I like the colourful ones the best.
I
found it very exciting
Some interesting use
of colour though the pallet is rather too busy for my taste in many
cases. Not sure of your emotional stance either
"Headshot" ??? ugh!
Loved "Celebration" very
exiting!
Lovely pictures
Great
to see some contemporary work on show here, it was very exciting!
Very
bland.
Love the mixture of colours and textures
Loved
your "Isolation" paintings especially, but all of your work, carry on!
Freaky
and far out.
Some really great work, love the
texture and emotions in you paintings.
Some original
works here, just wish I could afford some.
Emotional
catharsis on canvas! Would be nice to know your emotions, apart from you
suicidal ones.
Truly awful!
Imaginative, enjoyed it.
Have you ever had a nervous breakdown?
This certainly treads like elephants in a drawing room even
although decorated (with toxic paint) to match wallpaper.
Love
it but expensive!
Powerful, disturbing yet
resolving, real art! Thanks!
Alienated a very bold
image, it's a beautifully captured from, otherwise a bland collection
with no depth. Nice use of mixed media though.
Drew,
your work is fab. I truly love these work on show here. I have never
felt so inspired by an artist.
A lovely exhibition,
it's nice to see some abstract art for a change.
Super,
masterpieces!
Very colourful.
Great
to view and exhibition without the ubiquitous Pembroke castle!
Made
it here at last to see your show Drew! It's a great show of paintings
and drawings. I like your "detachment & Isolation" paintings.
Love
the vibrancy, energy and bold bright use of colour. my favourite ones
are, "Celebration, Headshot, Mars and Mercury". Enjoyed the
dynamic mix of work and themes, look forward to seeing more of your
work, Best wishes!
Wishing you a roaring
success with your exhibitions.
You have worked so
hard there are so many canvases on display, good luck for now and for
the future. We all wish you well.
Its good to see a unique and unusual touch, and
talent! Some great pieces of art work. All the best!
Unusual - some dark and angry thoughts in some of the work.
Your tactile pieces were a personal favourite of mine, and I wanted to
touch them, to experience the work through mediums other than sight.
Very good luck in the future.
Interesting colours
and form. Beautifully presented, some much more restful that others!
Interesting work, shown well.
Keep up the good
work.
If people are buying it, keep painting
it!
Enjoyed the work - dramatic!
Really liked your drawings.
Very nice
Fabulous work.
Good work!
Very
inspiring work.
Some lovely colours
Loved your textile-ish medium best of all, but also like your
abstracts!
Enjoyed the vibrant impact of your
strong paintings. My favourites are "You Should Have Known.." "Looking
Back series" "Abused" "Purgatorio" "Haven Sunset" "Burnt World"
"Celebration" and " Urban Noise" But if I could only have one, it
would have to be "You Should Have Known..." All good wishes for your
magical future, thanks for sharing and caring!
Very
dark and trippy. I like the textured ones, with beads and lumps. They
make me want to touch and pick at them.
Wonderful
colours, very tactile- they make me want to jump in to the paintings!
Love your work- love "Urban Noise" - thanks!
Your work is amazing!
Very nice - well done!
Well done Drew, you have captured it in many paintings!
Very vivid and imaginative. Love the ink drawings. Good luck for
the future.
Wow! Wish I could do my art just as
good as you. I'm only 11, and I love art - especially yours!
I like your use of oil pastels, but didn't really like your use of
net and mesh!!!
Not to my taste at all!
I really connected with your work. I'd buy one if I had more money!
Interesting, not pretty but is thought provoking - like a nightmare in
an abattoir!
I like your ink drawings. The rest is
sadly juvenile, rushed and especially in the acrylic ones, fillers for
an exhibition. Do your self a favour , stick to your ink drawings of
coastlines. Drop all of your academic qualifications from all of your
literature and just get on with painting! You can paint but you are
too expensive for a pre grad. (Comment added in response by Drew
- Thanks for the above comment - but I have never drawn a coast
line in ink... and if I was a 'pre grad' -proper phrase is actually an
under grad- why do I have letters after my name - that's what they are
there for to let people know I have studied at and graduated from
university! This is what I love about what I do - it stirs such
emotions in people- isn't that what art should do?)
Grumpy - but I liked it!
Not understanding.
How Boring!
Interesting!!
FANTASTIC!!!
Interesting work, keep developing the ideas
Subtle
designs, abstract expressionist! Like it!
An
interesting concept of a whole exhibition. Thoughtful and well
executed, well done!
Finally something else than just
pretty pictures. Your words and lines engage, simple beauty. Mmmmmm.
